three things I know...


Now I don't know any secrets or magic tricks to weight loss...but I can tell you from the lay observation of some members of my local gym there some habits that are certainly deterrants. I'll share just a few..

3) showing up to the gym in full makeup and hair completely immboilized with hair spray

2) watching the food network, paul dean in particular while on the treadmill

1) sipping a starbucks latte while working out (witnessed that act just this morning... I'm still stunned)

The best way to not get a good workout: work out in high heeled shoes

A latte while working out? Doesn't all the leche in the latte just defeat the purpose of exercising? But, I wrote a couple weeks ago about all the crazy people at the Bally Total Fitness in Hollywood. I figure I"ll take a coffee drinker over a woman in tight white leggings with no underwear on.
